Tubeless tires are a wheel setup with no inner tube. They improve puncture resistance by filling "tubeless ready tires" with latex sealant. Without an inner tube, riders avoid the all too common problem of pinch flats when riding at speed off-road. The rims and tyres must be tubeless compatible to successful seal.
