about our club RIDES

Join the E-Flow Cycles Mountain Bike Club and ride the trails of Blean. Every Wednesday and Sunday, our guided club rides set off into ancient woodland singletrack and fire roads within Clowes Wood and Wilder Blean.
Wednesday evening rides depart from E-Flow Cycles, while our Sunday rides roll out from Arby’s Café, creating the perfect start to a social morning on the trails. Once a month, we ride Kent's most celebrated mountain bike destination, Bedgebury, and throughout the season, we visit more challenging bike parks in England and Wales, including Cannock Chase, Forest of Dean, and Bike Park Wales.
Whether you’re building fitness, improving your riding, or just getting started, our inclusive group rides are designed for all levels, with a focus on progression, health, and enjoying the ride. With the added support of electric bikes, you can push your limits, ride further, and train harder while still staying in control of your effort. It’s a great way to build endurance, boost mental wellbeing, and stay active in one of Kent’s most inspiring natural environments.

Throughout the season, we’ll also be running a friendly Strava race series to add a competitive edge, encouraging riders to track their progress, challenge themselves, and push just a little further each week. Expect a relaxed but purposeful atmosphere, expert local knowledge, and a chance to explore hidden trails while riding alongside a motivated, like-minded community.

It’s more than just a ride — it’s training, wellbeing, and nature combined.
OUR LOCAL STRAVA TRAILS
GREEN TRAIL
BLUE TRAIL
RED TRAIL
Our rides follow the Blean’s network of green trails — wide, flowing forest tracks that are smooth, well-maintained, and ideal for all abilities. With gentle gradients, good visibility, and minimal obstacles, they’re perfect for building confidence and enjoying the ride at a steady pace. Surrounded by ancient woodland and rewilding habitats, these trails offer a safe, relaxed environment to improve fitness, develop skills, and connect with nature.
Our rides also explore the Blean’s blue trails — narrower, more dynamic routes that introduce gentle technical features and a more flowing, sporty feel. Expect natural turns, small undulations, and varied terrain that help develop bike handling skills while keeping the ride fun and engaging. Still accessible for most riders, blue trails offer the perfect step up from green, allowing you to build confidence, improve fitness, and enjoy a more adventurous ride through the woodland in a safe, supportive group environment.
For more experienced riders, our routes can include sections of red trail — faster, more technical lines that demand focus, control, and confidence. Expect tighter turns, steeper gradients, natural obstacles, and more challenging terrain that reward good technique and fitness. While still ridden in a supportive group setting, red trails offer a step up in intensity, giving riders the chance to push their limits, sharpen their skills, and experience the Blean in a more dynamic and exhilarating way.
