IN OUR BEAUTIFUL BLEAN WOODS

Set off from E-Flow Cycles and ride quietly into the ancient woodland of the Blean, one of the largest areas of ancient forest in southern England, for just £20 for 2 hr.

Just minutes from the shop, New Road leads you into a landscape where the pioneering Wilder Blean rewilding project is bringing nature back to life. European bison, ponies and other grazing animals are helping restore natural woodland processes, creating a richer, more dynamic habitat for wildlife. On an electric bike, you can glide effortlessly beneath towering trees, explore peaceful forest tracks, and experience the changing woodland that conservationists are working to transform into a thriving ecosystem once again. It’s a unique opportunity to slow down, breathe the woodland air, and witness one of the UK’s most ambitious rewilding projects unfolding in real time.
